This joint effort is equipping local people with real industry experience and ensuring the region is developing a skilled workforce capable of supporting the UK’s future production needs. Cllr Dominic Twomey\, Leader of the Council\, said:“This very special visit enables us to showcase the very best of our community\, our partnerships\, and our ambition as a borough.” Fiona Taylor\, Chief Executive of Barking and Dagenham Council\, added:“Everything we achieve here takes collective effort… We’d love to welcome Their Majesties back in a few years to see the impact this work is having in our community.” With Eastbrook Studios set to become a major force in UK production\, the visit highlights a bold and confident vision of a thriving creative hub where local talent is supported\, celebrated and central to the industry’s future.
