Film Barking and Dagenham Manager

Over the past 10 years, Barking and Dagenham’s film office has supported over 200 productions to film in the borough, generating investment in the local economy and opportunities for local businesses and people. The film office has raised the profile of the borough as a filming destination and established the demand that led to the Council’s decision to bring new film studios to the borough. The Film Barking and Dagenham Manager will play a critical role in the development of the film sector in the borough moving forward – building a strong relationship with the new Eastbrook and Wharf Studios to attract and support more productions to film in the borough and make use of our unique locations. The role will also support the development of the Make It Here programme, jointly supported by the studio operators MBS and the Council to ensure that local people and businesses can access opportunities in the film sector and that productions are able to meet their skills and business needs.
