Once known for its iconic Ford manufacturing plant, our borough is now transforming into a thriving production hub. The ‘MAKE IT HERE’ programme is a key part of that transformation, working collaboratively with local film studios and incoming productions to ensure that Barking & Dagenham is ready for the exciting opportunities ahead.

Approval Criteria
All applications are subject to approval, once approved you will automatically be added to our Crew Database.
Experienced Crew
- Minimum 2 industry Film & TV Credits
- Although we intend to expand in the future, the Crew Database is currently open to East London residents only. Including – Barking & Dagenham, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest.
Early Entrant Criteria
- Be a resident of Barking & Dagenham
- Have undertaken a Make It Here training initiative
- 1 Industry Credit – 1 day or more working on set
